The New South Wales Health Services Union has rejected an eleventh-hour offer from the Minns government.

The offer would have boosted wages for its paramedics by an average of 19 per cent.

The Health Services Union Secretary Gerard Hayes told Sky News Australia that they “couldn’t even understand” what they were saying.

Mr Hayes said, “this was a planned hit on paramedics".

“I don’t know why a government would do that.”
