ADHSU members from across the state held a zoom meeting today to discuss HSU’s ‘Fix NSW Health’ campaign and the ‘Priority 1’ Paramedic Professional Recognition campaign and preview the media advertisements for those campaigns.

The meeting expressed support for the ‘Fix NSW Health’ campaign and looked forward to being part of the fight to establish a Royal Commission into NSW Health expenditure.

The first advertisement for this campaign can be viewed here.

The meeting discussed the Priority 1 Paramedic Professional Recognition campaign and previewed the advertisement for this campaign. View that ad here.

We ask all members to share these advertisements widely to boost the campaign message.

The delegates expressed disappointment with the Premier’s failure to firm up a meeting date with ADHSU delegates. The HSU will continue the push to meet with the Premier this week.

ADHSU members will press on taking our issues to the community. The parliamentary petition in support of paramedics is circulating and our aim is to have it ready to take to the Government before the next election. We ask all members to download the petition, obtain as many signatures as possible, and get the conversation going in the community.

As the state prepares for an election next year, our members are beginning to take these campaigns to our communities.

ADHSU Paramedics will ramp up the campaign for professional rates and the call for a Royal Commission into NSW health expenditure. We will get a better deal for all health workers.
