Carrington – bargaining is underway, time to have your say!

Bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement is underway at Carrington.

This means that we can have a say in the things that affect us at work, like our rates of pay and our working conditions.

Have your say here on the top priorities for negotiation.

What is an Enterprise Agreement and what is bargaining?

Your enterprise agreement sets your pay and conditions at work. It governs all your entitlements like access to leave, your rostering arrangements, when Carrington must consult with you, and of course your pay increase!

Your HSU bargaining team is made up of HSU activists who work at Carrington and is supported by the union’s industrial officers.

If you’re an HSU member, you’ll be represented by the HSU bargaining team. If you’re not an HSU member yet, join now to support our campaign for better pay and conditions at Carrington.

Our Log of Claims at Carrington

All HSU members at Carrington are encouraged to have a say on the top priorities for the new enterprise agreement.

HSU delegates from across NSW, ACT and QLD have also set key priorities for the Aged Care sector, at our annual conference this year. These priorities focus on:

  1. Fair Pay At Work
  2. A More Democratic Workplace
  3. A Safer Workplace
  4. Supporting Career Development

You can view our full sector priorities here.

Make sure you and your colleagues have a say on your priorities for the new enterprise agreement here.

Together, these will form our Log of Claims for the new enterprise agreement at Carrington.

Next Steps

Over the coming weeks, organisers and activists will be in the workplace holding discussions with HSU members on how we campaign to win.

All HSU members will receive updates as the negotiations progress. If your colleagues are not yet HSU members, encourage them to join today at or call 1300 478 679 and have their say in the union log of claims.

If you have any questions, please contact your HSU workplace delegate or call 1300 478 679. Together we can campaign for a strong enterprise agreement for all Carrington members.
