Chief Radiographers: We want to hear from you

Are you a Chief Radiographer serving another hospital or hospitals?

Currently, under Part B of the Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientist (State) Award 2021, where a Chief Radiographer provides a weekly service to another hospital or hospitals and is not entitled to an adjustment to a higher salary rate for this service, they are entitled to an allowance.

However, some Chief Radiographers are not receiving this allowance despite providing fulfilling the requirements. This entitlement is not being provided consistently across the NSW public health system.

The HSU is conducting a short survey to gather information from Chief Radiographers about the duties they perform and whether they receive the allowance. Your response will assist with demonstrating the inconsistent application of the allowance across LHDs and inform discussions with management.

The survey will remain confidential and will only take 5 minutes to complete. Complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TFM2ZTC

This survey will be open until 2 March 2023.
