The HSU has been contacted by members concerned about the cleaning roster trial currently being undertaken at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
All issues raised with the HSU have subsequently been raised for discussions at the ongoing USCC meetings with site management. In addition, HSU Public Health Division Manager Rob Sheehy will be visiting CHHC on Monday 23rd November and is keen to meet with cleaning staff to discuss members’ concerns.
The HSU is now conducting a survey of cleaning staff to gather your views about the roster trial. If you work as a cleaner, please complete the survey at the following link:
Once we have a snapshot of members’ views, this will give us a good idea of how to tackle the issue going forward. Please complete the survey prior to Rob’s visit to ensure that these discussions are as productive as possible.
If you know someone who hasn’t yet joined the HSU, encourage them to take the plunge today. We can only arrive at solutions to problems once we have bargaining power at work. New members can join at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
