From the Secretary
We recently sent an update about your wage offer, however the information included was intended for a different group of members. We apologise for any confusion. The offer that we have received from your employer is for a 2% wage increase per year, for the next three years, not a 1.5% increase. We are still negotiating the rest of the conditions for your enterprise agreement, but we want to hear your feedback on the wage offer. Enterprise bargaining will continue, until the whole offer is put out to staff for a vote. Is 2% good enough? It’s now up to you and your colleagues to decide. Should we reject the offer and fight for more? You can have your say here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LASA_June21 Whatever the decision of members, our ultimate goal to win a 25% wage increase across the entire aged care sector will continue. We won’t give up until every aged care worker is valued and paid for the incredible work you do. If you know a colleague that is not yet an HSU member, encourage them to join today at www.hsu.asn.au/join or over the phone on 1300 478 679.
