As we come to the end of a year like no other, we are constantly reminded of the essential work HSU members do.

All HSU members are playing an essential role throughout the Covid crisis.

It is therefore always angering to remember that the NSW Government pushed for a wage freeze this year when HSU members have been giving so much to the community.

That is why we launched our campaign to end the Government’s unfair wages policy and fix the broken Awards.

If you haven’t already, we need you to endorse the HSU demands at this link.   Our campaign will only succeed if all HSU members have their voices heard.

We are also asking members to indicate whether they are willing to meet with local MPs to discuss these important issues. Politicians often hide from difficult decisions, so we need to make sure they hear from health workers face to face, the same workers that have been keeping their community safe.
