Following on from your union’s advocacy, the Health Services Union has been formally advised by your employer they now are in a position to commence good faith bargaining.
Your employer will be issuing to employees the “Notice of Employees Representational Rights” from Monday 6th September, this is a significant and positive step forward in making effective change within your workplace. Members will now have the ability to have your say in what your employment rights and conditions are within a new workplace agreement.
Members have already put forward a clear pathway in developing a draft “Log of Claims” to take to the bargaining table however, that does not stop here – members are requested if you have not already done so in completing the survey via the following link:
Members are also invited to attend an update meeting with your HSU representatives to further discuss the next steps involved, members are requested to register in advance for this meeting on the following link:
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
