Following some reports from HSU members, it appears HealthShare have been offering short-term contracts to new and existing HealthShare staff.
These contracts vary from rolling monthly contracts to three-month or six-month contracts. Many of them do not make sense and HealthShare have admitted to accidentally copying and pasting parts of these contracts from other COVID-19 contracts.
Recently, there has also been pressure from HealthShare to accept these contracts. You cannot be made to accept a contract in an unreasonable amount of time. If you are unsure of a contract you have been offered, please contact your organiser via email firstname.lastname@example.org or your delegates onsite.
Do not sign a contract if you are unsure. Management and supervisors cannot pressure you.
