Recently, the HSU met with Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital management to discuss the hospital’s proposal to require security officers to transport cash/valuables from the inpatient areas to the safe.

A disputes committee meeting was held at the hospital on 11th March to discuss concerns with the proposal. As a result of concerns raised, management have now agreed to withdraw the proposal at this time.
