Workplace change at Tenterfield Care

On 16 February, Tenterfield Care wrote to HSU as part of mandatory consultation to advise us of roster changes in the kitchen at Haddington. Though it appears nobody will lose contracted hours, this may be different to actual hours worked. Local HSU Organiser Kirk Rostock has written to management to confirm there will be no reduction in hours and will keep members informed as information come in.

According to the letter (which you can read at this link) there will be further changes into the future. The HSU has requested further information around this.

Should members be asked to go to meetings, they are encouraged to ring the HSU Member Services Division on 1300 478 679 and get a support person for the meeting. Members are also advised you have the right to take any offer away and get advice from your union.

In the meantime, your local HSU Organiser Kirk Rostock will be visiting on Wednesday 3 March as below:

Haddington from 9am – 1pm

Millrace from 1:30pm – 3:30pm.

Should you wish to get in touch with Kirk, please feel free to ring on 0488 086 907 or email [E-Mail not displayed].

It’s times like these that it’s important to be a member of the HSU. Only members will get individual support in meetings, up-to-date information and advice. New members can join online at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
