Medical Physics Award Reform: Our Time is Now!

19 years ago, the current MRS and Medical Physics Award was made. If it was a person, it would be old enough to vote.

This is a sorry situation for the state of NSW. Over these 19 years, the complexity and challenges HSU MRS members face have grown considerably: fewer staff, more work, and stagnant pay.

This is our time to change the Award so it is fit for purpose. An all-MRS and Medical Physics staff meeting has been called for Thursday 16 May at 12:30pm-1:10pm with the following agenda items:

  • An update on the Government pay offer for 2024.
  • Launch of the MRS Award reform claims.

For two years, HSU MRS and Medical Physics delegates have been diligently preparing the claims for a new Award for Radiographers, Sonographers, Radiation Therapists, Medical Physics and Nuclear Medicine.

Now is the time to join together and change our Award for the first time in 19 years.

You will need to register for the meeting via this link.
