Australia’s aged care workers to receive pay rise after long, hard fight

It's been a long, hard fight. Now, nearly 400,000 aged care workers are set to get a pay rise, some as high as 28%, following a historic ruling by the Fair Work Commission.
It's hoped the decision will encourage more workers into the struggling sector but it's taxpayers who will pick up the bill.
