Lack of staff blamed for aged care failures

The aged care sector says the ongoing staffing crisis is to blame for tens of thousands of serious incidents reported in the last financial year.

A Productivity Commission report has revealed more than 37-thousand serous incidents were reported to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission last financial year - most related to unreasonable use of force.
