All you need to know about Award Reform – Come along to the HSU briefing

You’ve probably heard a lot about Award Reform recently – but what does it actually mean?

With the removal of the NSW Public Service Wages Cap, the Government has signalled that it is finally ready to begin negotiating a new Award – the document that determines your wages and conditions at work.

This is a big deal! Health workers are finally getting a seat at the table. Together, we can finally fix the outdated conditions and definitions that have been holding us back.

But we have to get it right. It’s important that everyone gets a say – that means encouraging your colleagues to join the union and exercise their rights. It also means making informed decisions.

Next Monday there will be an HSU members’ briefing to answer your questions about Award Reform. There is an afternoon and evening session – choose the one that works best for you.
