The HSU has received correspondence from members regarding a policy document called the CHW Patrol & Welfare Check Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

We understand that this has been issued to CHW Security Officers, Edgar Stephens, Commercial Travellers Ward Staff and the CHW Eye Clinic and Staff today 20 January 2021, but staff have not been consulted on the document.

We have requested that SCHN retract the SOP and start a consultation process with affected staff and the HSU. We are waiting to hear back from SCHN and will continue to update members.

Member feedback requested

The HSU industrial team is currently reviewing the potential impacts of the proposed change on affected employees. We are now seeking feedback, views and comments from our members.
