This NSW Labor Government was elected on a platform of change. But we’re just seeing more of the same.

This is a government that has trashed the promises it made to health workers. The wages cap is still very much in place, workers are still forking over half of their personal tax savings through salary packaging, awards are still hopelessly out of date with no plan to update them, and there has been no progress on paramedic professional rates.

Last week, HSU members voted on a 6% pay offer plus 0.5% superannuation and immediate action on the other outstanding commitments.

Now, there are rumours that the government will be making a pay offer of a measly 3.5%, plus the 0.5% super increase.
