How close are we to reaching agreement with Healthscope on wage increases?

At last week’s meeting, members  discussed Healthscope’s wages offer:

  • 2.5% backdated October 2021-October 2022
  • A further 2.5% backdated October 2022-date of the new agreement
  • 3.75% wage increase from October 2023,
  • 3.25% wage increase from October 2024,
  • 2.5% wage increase from October 2025.

Members who attended were generally positive about the offer. While members wanted to push for a higher 2025 increase figure, overall, the wages offer totalling about 15% compounding over three years was well-received.

Members also commended our Bargaining Committee and HSU Workplace Activists for driving this campaign forward: growing the union, organising petitions, winning two full years of backpay, and securing timely improvements to paid parental leave.

There is still some work to be done. Rates of pay for the former Manly / Mona Vale employees, and for Radiographers, are yet to be incorporated. But, because of member activity, we’re making progress and hope to conclude negotiations soon in April.

If you have any final feedback on the wages offer, please reach out to your Delegates or Organisers. Don’t know who your Delegate or Organiser is? Email [E-Mail not displayed].
