Thanks to hard work and advocacy from your HSU delegates, the employer has now agreed to conduct a workforce review for Patient Support Services (PSS) at the John Hunter Hospital. The purpose of this review is to assess the resourcing required for this work area, which has been seriously understaffed for a long time.
The workforce review will commence next week with Cleaning. As a part of this process, workers will be invited to participate in interviews with Workforce from the 19th-24th of May for 10-15 minutes.
These sessions can be booked in advance with Kate Ireland.
HSU members are strongly encouraged to attend these interviews to have their say on what is required to provide the best service in the best conditions possible.
