NNSWLHD: Community and Allied Health Restructure Update

  • Published March 13, 2023

Following NNSWLHD’s decision to implement the Community and Allied Health restructure, HSU members were concerned that issues regarding the changes and any mitigation strategies were not being properly addressed. This resulted in a union dispute being lodged at the NSW Industrial Relations Commission so that members could raise these concerns before the restructure was implemented.

As a result the LHD committed to ongoing discussions regarding the restructure and monthly meetings so that any changes being proposed, or decisions being made about the structure of the team would be directed by HSU members.

HSU delegates have been attending the meetings with the LHD where we have raised issues regarding increase in workload, understaffed teams, and limited supervision.

To hear the latest update on these discussions, come along to a report back on Tuesday 14 March 2023 at 12pm. Register for the meeting by clicking here.
