NNSWLHD Community & Allied Health Restructure Update: HOD positions

On 18 July, HSU representatives met with NNSWLHD to discuss Community and Allied Health Head of Department (HOD) positions.

The LHD has continually been called upon to provide HSU members with a breakdown of the FTE for each site to determine the grading of HOD positions, and whether the grading is appropriate based on the FTE, scope of duties, role and responsibilities, the actual number of staff being managed, and organisational complexity.

The LHD has now provided a document which outlines the current and proposed grading of HOD positions. You can access the document through the link below:

What do you think? A members meeting will be held on Thursday 27 July at 12pm to gather members’ feedback on the proposed grading of HOD positions.

Please use this link to register for the meeting.

It’s important that members attend this meeting as your feedback will guide the discussions with the LHD regarding the appropriateness of the proposed gradings.

Members can also provide written feedback to [E-Mail not displayed] by COB 28/07/2023 using the subject line NNSWLHD Community & Allied Health Restructure Head of Department Positions.
