STOP WORK Meeting on Zoom 0700 – 0800 TOMORROW.

It’s essential all ADHSU NSWA members show up, on or off duty. The media will be there so now is the time to prove just how united members are on this issue. If you are on duty attend and participate unless you are given a 1A, 1B, 1C, or 2I.

Effective from first day shift TOMORROW until start of first day shift Saturday (24 hours of action).

PROTEST ACTION

  • Only wearing undershirt and safety vest while on duty (with ADHSU front and rear insert).
  • Chalking continues

INDUSTRIAL ACTION

  • No shift movements unless overtime has been exhausted at the destination station (has to be advertised on Teams or text request for at least an hour).
  • No hospital – hospital R3s or below. This does not include R4s or sporting events, or from Aged Care facilities.
  • No pressing off stretcher – crews will not update MDT when off stretcher until they are complete and ready to make themselves available.
  • Duty crews not to attend SEC events, including trackwork, when not staffed with OT
  • No P5s: all patients who wish to be transported to hospital will be transported to hospital. This is not industrial action because NSW paramedics are not getting paid for the required medical reasoning to safely P5 a patient. (THIS ACTION IS ONGOING INDEFINITE)

SCRIPT FOR CHECKING IN WITH CONTROL:

“Hello. I am a proud ADHSU member taking part in the action today, my partner and I will be wearing our safety vest and will refuse the following: hospital to hospital R3s, shift movements to another sector and attending SEC events, when not staffed with OT. Also, I will transport all patients who wish to go to hospital. I cannot complete P5s until NSWA paramedics are recognised as professional by the Premier. Thank you.”
