Private Health Division congratulates HSU paramedics on historic pay win!

Dear Member,

HSU’s Private Health Division congratulates HSU paramedics on securing a historic 29 per cent pay rise after standing up to the NSW government and declaring it was high time NSW paramedics stopped being the country’s lowest paid and most injured.

HSU paramedics overwhelmingly voted yes to the NSW government’s latest pay offer this afternoon after thousands made the decision to refuse to renew their professional registration in protest.

For years, NSW Ambulance has experienced an exodus of veteran paramedics because NSW continued to be the lowest paying state for paramedics.

HSU private health workers stand in solidarity with paramedics! It’s a timely reminder of why HSU members continue to fight for far enterprise agreements at private health workplaces across NSW and ACT.

At Ramsay Healthcare, HSU members are now voting on a new EA to secure increased wages and better conditions, while bargaining at Hunter Imaging Group has begun.

Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.
