SNSWLHD: Proposed restructure, Coastal Network Health & Security Services

The HSU has received correspondence from Southern New South Wales Local Health District about a proposed restructure of the Coastal Network Corporate Services – Health and Security Services.

SNSWLHD are proposing changes to the Health and Security Structure located under the governance of Coastal Network Corporate Services Manager. They have provided a summary of the proposed changes below.

Changes to positions:

  • Delete Health and Security Supervisor FTE 0.21FTE at SERH
  • Implement two Health and Security Leading Hands within SNSWLHD current workforce establishment:
    • One Health and Security Leading Hand Eurobodalla
    • One Health and Security Leading Hand South East Regional
  • Propose to remunerate by applying the Health Employees (State) Award 2023 Table 2 - Allowance bands appropriate to each facility.
  • Introduce new Position Descriptions for Health and Security Assistant Leading Hands

Changes to reporting lines:

  • Health and Security Leading Hands to report to Coastal Network Health and Security Manager
