St Joseph’ Auburn: Closure of 17 beds & redeployment of staff

Yesterday, Monday 30th August, HSU and your delegates were informed by St Joseph’ Management that a decision was being made to close 17 beds at the facility and redeploy a number of staff in response the recent Covid-19 outbreak.

HSU have been provided a PowerPoint presentation outlining these changes and Management rational. This can be viewed here.

We understand this message was conveyed to all staff yesterday afternoon, and many members will have questions, comments, and concerns about the impact this decision will have on you in the short and long term.

To discuss this issue and for members to have an opportunity to raise any concerns, all members are encouraged to attend the HSU members meeting, details below:
