At the end of 2019, the HSU commenced bargaining with St. Vincent’s Lismore for a new Enterprise Agreement. However, shortly afterwards the pandemic hit Australia and these negotiations were placed on hold.

The HSU met with St. Vincent’s last week to restart negotiations. In 2019, the HSU provided St. Vincent’s with a log of claims which was based on a survey that we completed of the membership. However, the pandemic has affected the way that frontline health workers work, and as a result we have slightly revised our claims.

The HSU will then provide St. Vincent’s with our claims at the end of the week. The parties will then meet again on 18 May 2021 to progress discussions.
