Time for action! Stop work at Randwick Campus this Thursday 15 June

It’s time for action! Members at Prince of Wales, Sydney Childrens Hospital and Royal Hospital for Women have endorsed a hospital-wide stop work for 2 hours this Thursday from 12pm to 2pm at the Barker Street entry.

This Government has come out and offered health workers a pathetic 4% pay rise. This won’t even keep up with the cost of living. The Government is happy to see health workers’ wages go backwards.

The new NSW Government is breaking its promises to health workers. They promised:

  • To abolish the unfair wages cap and give health workers a fair pay rise
  • An end to the theft of salary packaging tax savings
  • To overhaul our out-of-date awards
  • A Royal Commission into NSW Health

Health workers will not let this Government walk away from their promises.

It’s time to take action.

Join your workmates this Thursday from 12pm to 2pm at the Barker Street entry.
