Tweed Hospital: Come to an important meeting to address unsafe staffing levels

Dear Member,

NNSWLHD has continued to disregard HSU members’ concerns about unsafe staffing levels at Tweed Valley Hospital ahead of the hospital’s opening. Come to an important meeting on TUESDAY, April 23 to have your say.

This week, NNSWLHD issued a response to members’ concerns, but it’s clear management is still not listening to you. (You can read management’s response HERE)

HSU Secretary, Gerard Hayes will be visiting Tweed Hospital on Tuesday, 23 April because the HSU and your subbranch committee maintain concerns there still will not be safe staffing levels in place when TVH is opened on 14 May.

There will be a meeting held for all HSU members to coincide with the visit.

You will receive a SMS detailing the meeting time and location shortly.

ALL HSU members are strongly encouraged to attend.

Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.

New members can join at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
