Vote NO to the HIG Enterprise Agreement

We recently emailed about the Hunter Imaging Group (HIG) Enterprise Agreement and the upcoming vote. HIG put the proposed Agreement out on Monday 22 March, hours after the HSU met with HIG. They did not listen to any of the issues we raised with the Enterprise Agreement. They did, however, change the term of the Agreement to 3 years, and start the voting process immediately. The vote is only running for three days (30 March 2021 to 1 April 2021), and will be conducted electronically.

The HSU is recommending that all staff VOTE NO to the proposed Enterprise Agreement, for the following reasons:

  • No pay parity between Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, and MRI Technologists
  • Mediocre pay increases under the proposed Agreement, which the HSU considers inadequate
  • While other staff have to settle for less, the majority of management get 10% in the first year of the Agreement

The HSU believes that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. If managers are worth up to 10% in the first year of the Agreement, then you are too.
