WSLHD Oral Health: Urgent members meeting Monday 5 June

Urgent WSLHD Oral Health members zoom meeting at 8:30am Monday 5/6: https://hsu-asn-au.zoom.us/j/87352640025

Members across WSLHD Oral Health have been fighting for months for pay that reflects the job they do and the qualifications that they possess.

At the most recent WSLHD Joint Consultative Committee held Thursday 1 June, the District indicated that they were now going to be refusing all regrades for Dental Assistants.

The District has completely pulled out of discussions after months of work. This is completely unacceptable. Members must come together to fight this.

It is vitally important that all members across Oral Health stand together. WSLHD cannot be allowed to get away with undercutting wages by up to $10,000 a year because they don’t think they have appointed you to a role you are already performing.

This unacceptable about-face by the District will only lead to further action by members who are fed up with being treated as second-class citizens by the WSLHD executive.

Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.
