Welcome to ParaEd – specialised education for HSU Paramedics

  • Published June 15, 2022

In recognition and support of the professional work of Paramedics, the HSU has now funded access to CPD and specialised training for Ambulance Division members through ParaEd - a new education service designed specifically for ADHSU members, supported by the Australasian College of Paramedicine. This innovation is completely free to ADHSU members.

The Australasian College of Paramedicine is the industry-leading paramedic education and professional development provider, delivering high-quality content by paramedic professionals for paramedic professionals.

HSU Secretary Gerard Hayes said “It’s really important that our union can support the professional work of paramedics and give them access to materials that will advance their career.

“I’m very proud that we have been able to deliver this service, developed by paramedics, for paramedics.”

With ParaEd, ADHSU members gain access to paramedic-specific online CPD learning content including monthly live education webinars and quality recorded education to help maintain their paramedic registration.

Additionally, ParaEd contains a CPD tracker to assist in keeping track of training and creating a professional portfolio for AHPRA registration.

ADHSU members can sign in to ParaEd for free using their HSU Portal login. Simply visit https://hsu.paraed.com.au/ and enter your HSU portal details.

If you’ve never logged into the HSU Portal, or need assistance logging in, contact 1300 478 679 or email [E-Mail not displayed].

ADHSU Paramedics are strong patient-advocates and will proactively enhance their skills to be able to deliver the highest possible standard of patient care. As the Ambulance Union, the HSU is proud to support members in their journey as they continue to develop and hone their skills.
