APUNIPIMA- EBA Bargaining getting to the pointy end!

  • Published June 22, 2022

The bargaining of your new Enterprise Agreement at Apunipima, whilst has been long and drawn out (thanks to COVID restrictions) continues at the bargaining table this week.  As we draw to the pointy end of bargaining, we will continue to push forward on our claims.

As with most agreements the pay increase and allowances are the sticking point with the claimed 5% pay increase still not yet agreed to- your HSU Bargaining Representatives will continue to put our position forward and fight hard to try and achieve this. Apunipima also has not agreed to increase superannuation 1% above the superannuation guarantee.

However to date Apunipima has agreed to:

  • 5 days of Paid Domestic Violence leave
Long Service leave to be cashed out after 7 years
Professional Development expanded to 5 days

These agreed in principle clauses are welcomed but we are back at the bargaining table this Friday to try and secure more of our claims. Keep an eye on our newsletter next week for further updates!
