Coffs Harbour: Vote for your bargaining committee representatives!

Three union members from Coffs Harbour Health Campus have nominated to be on the Award Reform State Bargaining Committee. Coffs Harbour Health Campus is entitled to two representatives, so you are invited to vote for who you would like as your bargaining representatives. Here are your candidates:

  • Jo Dragojevic is a Hospital Assistant Grade 2 at Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Jo wants to see reform across all of the 36 Awards in NSW Health.
  • Sean Latter is a third-year Analyst with Coffs Harbour Clinical Network. Sean would like to improve the ICT Award structure to ensure that staff are paid the same as the rest of the government, reduce an incremental pay structure that takes less than the current 6 years, and review and/or restore substantive appointment rules to stop secondments that last for more than 12 months.
  • Marion Schausberger is a Speech Pathologist at Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Marion wants to see an Award that is competitive with the private health sector. This will lead to the retention of more health clinicians.

Please submit your vote here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GSF9B9Q. Voting will close at 5pm on Wednesday 20 December.

Bargaining representatives will:

  • Attend state-wide committee meetings to discuss the negotiations and state-wide campaign strategy.
  • Report back to HSU members at their worksite on how negotiations are going.
  • Be able to nominate as one of the 15 members of the state-wide bargaining committee who will form the negotiation team.
