Thank you for your participation in the survey conducted by the HSU last October and your support during the GDMI Pathways consultations. As you are aware, management have recognised the importance of maintaining the high quality of the GDMI profession.
The union presented the results of the October survey to management, who were receptive and concerned by the findings. The CEO requested more specific information and asked that we come back to our members to investigate priority areas and possible solutions for the issues that are causing the greatest stress. Based on the responses to our October survey, which included many and varied comments, we have identified key areas of concern and want members to have the opportunity to indicate to management what they believe are the workplace issues requiring improvement.

This follow-up survey will assist us to take a more comprehensive report to management with the view towards alleviating some of the main pressures and stressors as soon as possible.
The survey consists of short questions with quick response selections. You will also have the option to offer comments and ideas should you wish to do so – this will contribute to the Union’s goal of finding solutions to commonly felt issues. This survey should take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. We would really appreciate if you can take the time to let us know what you would like to see change in 2021. Once the results are collated, we will share the findings with members and management in March.
