Industrial Action Postponed

ADHSU paramedics will have received a notification via text that our industrial action has been brought forward.

This was due to the last-minute attempt from the Ministry of Health to seek orders in the Industrial Relations Commission to stop our action.

ADHSU members had always maintained if orders were sought, we would bring the action forward as we did.

The ADHSU had already organised a meeting with the Treasurer, Mr Perrottet, and 30 Paramedic and PTO delegates to discuss our pay dispute.

In an urgent Industrial Relations Commission hearing, ADHSU delegates have agreed to a conciliatory process whereby we will continue to meet with the Treasurer tomorrow and postpone our action to the original date.

As an act of good faith, we have returned to the original industrial action plan and no orders have been issued.

Members will understand this is unprecedented action. As such, it is dynamic, and we need to adjust as the situation develops.

Industrial action will continue as originally planned on the 10th of June, dependent on the outcome of conciliation meetings with the Treasurer tomorrow.
