Proposed roster change at Holy Spirit Casula: Know your rights!

Catholic Healthcare is proposing changes to the roster at Holy Spirit Casula. This includes changes to shift start and end times, roles responsibilities and titles, and a roster review to fill vacant shifts. Consultation commenced on 24 August 2023.

By now, management should have met with you and given you a copy of the current and proposed roster.

As with any change, it is important that you know your rights during this consultation period:

  1. Catholic Health Care must consult with all affected staff members. That means:
    • Catholic Health Care must provide in writing all relevant information about the change.
    • Catholic Health Care must invite you to give your views about the proposed change.
    • Catholic Health Care must consider any views about the impact of the change.
  2. HSU members have the right to representation. If you are impacted by the change and are meeting with management to discuss, you have the right to be represented by your union.

Do not sign anything you are not happy with. All HSU members are encouraged to seek advice before signing or agreeing to any changes.

If you have any questions or concerns, reach out to your HSU organiser Anita Bhattarai Pangeni on 0455 995 966 or email [E-Mail not displayed]. Alternatively, you can contact the HSU office on 1300 478 679.
