Ramsay Healthcare: Time to vote on your Enterprise Agreement

Over the past eight months, your HSU members bargaining committee has fought to increase wages and conditions in your new Enterprise Agreement. HSU members have have made significant wins in terms of your conditions, but the wages offer remains poor.

Workplace conditions wins

  • Casual Loading of 25% for casuals working on Saturdays
  • New Overtime Rates for Casuals
  • Additional Annual Leave for Shift Workers
  • New Dispensary Pharmacist classification structure
  • New Radiographer classification structure
  • Banking of up to 10 ADOs
  • Rosters will provide for a full-time and a part-time employee to have a minimum of 10 hours break between rostered shifts, which may be reduced to 8 hours if the employee elects.
  • Paid time for remote work if on-call
  • Increase of excess leave to 8 weeks

Wages offer

  • Year 1 - 2.5%
  • Year 2 - 3.25%
  • Year 3 - 3%
  • Total - 8.75%

Considering the proposed wages offer from Ramsay Healthcare, your union cannot recommend members vote Yes for this agreement. Wages are a vital part of addressing the rising cost of living and in real terms, this is a wage cut for Ramsay workers.

Ramsay has now issued a notification about voting on this agreement. Voting will open at 12:00am Wednesday 13 December and will close at 11:59pm on Monday 18 December.

Members are urged to make an informed decision and review the proposed Enterprise Agreement prior to voting.
