Ramsay NSW employees have voted up a new enterprise agreement! What’s next?

Ramsay NSW hospitals employees have voted in favour of making a new enterprise agreement. 1796 out of 2943 eligible employees casted votes, with 84.97 per cent voting Yes and 15.03 per cent voting No.

The annual increases to rates of pay, including backpay, in this agreement are as follows:

  • 2.50 per cent after 1 December 2022
  • 3.25 per cent after 1 December 2023
  • 3.00 per cent after 1 December 2024.

We expect the new rates of pay to take effect in the next full pay period. Separately, we expect Ramsay to administer the backpay as soon as is practicable in January 2024. However, we await confirmation from Ramsay as to the specific payment dates.

Once this agreement is approved by the Fair Work Commission, there will be more to do to ensure that we enforce our new working conditions.
