RSL Picton AIM Update - Have your say!

Firstly, I would like to introduce Deborah Kelly (Debbie) and Christine Sheil as newly appointed local Health Services Union representatives at RSL John Goodlet Manor, Picton. Congratulations and all the best to Debbie and Christine in your new role.

As you are aware, consultation meetings have taken place at RSL Picton regarding the current proposed roster change. We are concerned that the proposed roster will significantly cut the hours of most of the shifts with the exception of night shifts.

A further complicating issue is that some members are under the Sydney South West (State Award) while others are under the RSL Lifecare Enterprise Agreement.

The HSU is now are going to organise two meetings with management at RSL Picton to report back on members’ feedback and concerns raised during the consultation meeting on Thursday 21st of January and during the recent visit from HSU organiser Anita Bhattarai Pangeni.

In preparation, members are asked to let us know what other concerns and questions you would like to raise in the meeting with your management. What action do you think your management should take to mitigate the effects of the current proposed roster change? Please email your feedback and questions to [E-Mail not displayed].
