Single site arrangements extended for all NSW aged care facilities

This afternoon, the Department of Health has extended the Single Site Program across all NSW aged care facilities. In this new announcement, the Single Site Program will continue until there are no cases in residents or staff in residential aged care facilities and community transmission is considered lower risk for two weeks. When this occurs, the Department will issue advice of a two-week transition period to allow for rosters to be adjusted.

This is a change in the way the Single Site Program has operated in the past where a date had been set. The Health Services Union will continue to provide members with up-to-date information about transitional arrangements.

Our number one priority is making sure you and your colleagues are safe and supported. If you or your colleagues have any questions about the Single Site Program or any other matter, please contact your local HSU Organiser or Delegate, our HSU Member Services Division on 1300 478 679, or email [E-Mail not displayed].
