Statewide Peer Support Workers zoom meeting Tuesday 12 April

The HSU is holding a statewide member meeting for NSW Mental Health Peer Support Workers on Tuesday 12 April at 6pm.

This meeting will update members on the recent work towards improving pay and conditions and explain the new industrial structure for Health Professionals, including Peer Workers.

Members will have an opportunity to discuss and endorse a worker led structure for Peer Workers within the HSU to ensure you have a strong voice for industrial matters and in pursuit of proper recognition for this dynamic and emerging workforce within health. All Peer support workers are encouraged to attend to have your say for the future with your Union.

HSU Peer members will be able to participate in any voting on the evening. Non-members are also welcomed to attend, ask questions and contribute feedback to the discussion,  but will be unable to vote unless joined up to the Union.

You can find the agenda for the meeting here.
