As most of you are aware, HSU representatives and SWIAA management have been in discussions recently to try and resolve the classifications issue following the Work Value Case pay increases that came through from June 30 this year.

The discussions were constructive and have resulted in some members having their classification adjusted.  SWIAA management wrote to all staff on 11 September to advise of the changes being made. You can click here to view the document.

This is a great outcome which has happened because of HSU members.

Moving forward, it’s important that all workers understand their entitlements and rights.
