SWSLHD: Proposed changes to Digital Health Service Desk

The HSU has received correspondence from South Western Sydney Local Health District about proposed changes to the Service Desk within Digital Health.

eHealth NSW has a 24/7 statewide Service Desk to provide support (including after hours), while SWSLHD has a Service Desk to provide support only during business hours between 6am and 6pm for specific applications/systems. SWSLHD has identified an opportunity to gain “cost reductions” but won’t tell union members what costs are being reduced or if staff are going to lose their jobs. What is SWSLHD hiding?

Have your say and ensure that SWSLHD operates in an honest and transparent way when it makes changes that affect health workers.
