On March 31, HSU representatives and management attended a bargaining meeting towards your new Enterprise Agreement. 

The HSU raised a number of topics: 

• Changes to the way Sonographers work and are trained. We are of the view this should remain as before.
• Radiographers: there will now be no changes to the current wording.
• The HSU indicated the wage increase should be more than the current 2.5% per year.

If management are not willing to increase their wage offer, the HSU’s recommendation is that members and your colleagues should vote “NO” to the EBA in its current form.

A “NO” vote will bring management back to the bargaining table while members push for a better deal.

Over the coming weeks, your HSU Organiser will be on site speaking to members about what a “NO” vote means. Please take the time to speak with them.
