Technical Officers State-Wide Zoom Meeting Newsletter

The HSU Technical Officers Industrial Committee has called an urgent members’ meeting on Thursday 15 September 2022. Attend to hear an update on what NSW Health Pathology are proposing as acceptable qualifications for Technical Officers.

NSWHP are proposing to create additional restrictions on the acceptable qualifications for Technical Officers, requiring qualifications greater than those required under the award. The consultation documents provided can be found here:

To make sure every member’s voice is heard, the HSU will hold two state-wide member meetings on Tuesday 20 September.

During the meeting you will:

·       Get a detailed overview on the proposed changes to acceptable qualifications.

·       Find out, and ask questions about, about the work being done to develop the HSU’s position through consultation. 

·       Understand how the proposed changes will impact you and your career.

·       Discuss with fellow workers how you can stand together to protect your career and profession.

The HSU will be holding 2 sessions for the state-wide meeting to ensure that all members can attend the meeting. Register for the meeting using the link below:
