Yesterday your HSU bargaining team met with Garden Village to discuss our union Log of Claims.

Our HSU claims have been decided on by HSU members through our recent member survey and workplace consultation.

The top priorities for HSU members are a decent pay increase, improvements to staffing levels, and better conditions at work – such as improved uniforms and better leave arrangements. You can see the full list of HSU claims at this link.

Please share our claims with your colleagues so everyone knows what HSU members at Garden Village are fighting for in our new agreement.

Yesterday’s meeting was a positive one, with Garden Village management willing to engage and saying that they don’t want to reduce conditions or take anything away.

Garden Village will now consider our claims. They intend to respond at our next bargaining meeting, scheduled for 15 November.
