Tweed Hospital BBQ for Dignity & Respect

  • Published November 21, 2022

All health workers do vital work. The health system can’t run without everyone doing their part. But bullying or unkindness can make us feel like we don't matter.

Dignity and respect is more than just a nice phrase - it’s something we all deserve.

That's why the HSU is supporting the Walk In My Shoes campaign, which highlights how important every single health worker is. No matter how junior or senior an employee is, we should all receive respect.

Please join HSU Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Lynne Russell and HSU Assistant Secretary Lauren Hutchins for a BBQ lunch to promote dignity and respect at work.

     Where: Tweed Hospital
     When: This Wednesday 23 November
     Time: 11am to 1:30pm

If you know someone who isn’t an HSU member, tell them to come along and hear about what the union is doing. It takes all of us to stand up for a fair workplace – new members can join online at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
