Union win at Infin8care Tweed Heads

Members at Infin8care recently raised the issue of security of their personal items after reporting theft. The only storage provided for personal items was a filing cabinet in the lunchroom, meaning up to five handbags were being left in each unlocked drawer.

The HSU wrote to Infin8care reminding them of their obligations to provide safe storage for personal items as stated in relevant NSW legislation.

Happily, Infin8care have today written back to confirm they have ordered lockers for all facilities and should be arriving soon.

This is a great example of members working together through their union to get great outcomes for workers.
