Union Win: CCLHD Medical Imaging

Following previous newsletters regarding the proposed restructure in Medical Imaging at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, members are celebrating a victory. Late on Friday, afternoon the District acknowledged that proper consultation had not occurred regarding the proposal to reduce shift lengths in the administration team from eight hours to six hours.

To rectify this, the District will reintroduce eight-hour shifts for the administration team. Members who wish to stay on six-hour shifts will have to fill in a flexible work arrangement.

This is a great win for members, but we still have outstanding resolutions that need be addressed. Members have called for the LHD to rescind the restructure proposals, recruit to the vacant FTE, and institute an independent investigation into the financial management of the department. The campaign continues!
