WNSWLHD: Change to Operational Management - PARVAN & Women's Health

Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) is seeking to realign 11 positions within the Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) unit.

 

Currently the PARVAN counselling positions sit operationally underneath Community Health Managers. The proposal from WNSWLHD seeks to realign those PARVAN positions to the PARVAN unit.

 

HSU members have raised concerns about the ‘sustainable service model’ that is referred to in the letter received. Management responded to our request for clarification below:
